Channelling The Go-betweens, Even and early Triffids for his latest single, Fremantle psych-pop songwriter Michael Savage has unleashed a charming, jangly roadtrip anthem.

Nothing Good is the second single taken from Savage’s highly anticipated third album and was produced by Ricky Maymi of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Andy Hill (Ambidexter).

“It's a song about travel - crossing the Nullarbor - and how we associate feelings and place,” Savage said.

“Particularly when you're driving across the country with someone, there are times when you need silence, both good and bad.”
