Leanna Shoveller is Gospel Soul singer from Bidyadanga community. She has been singing since she was born and entertaining people all over the state in her family ‘Shoveller’ band and is now releasing her own music and is touring to celebrate the release of her new EP.



Leanna shares songs about country and culture including singing in her ‘Karajarri’ language. An acoustic guitar and her powerful soulful voice, Leanna serenades the audience and takes them on a journey through her life.

Strong vocals, funky riffs, country-rock overtones with a heap of soul, Stellar sings about freedom in all its facets; freedom of mind, social conditioning & inherited wounds, inspiring deeper connection to self, Country & culture, singing both in English and in ‘Nyikina’ language.



Stellar Moon & the Dark Knights are on their 3rd statewide tour and is promoting her debut album ‘Phases’ released in March 2024. Since making the jump from covers to original music in 2020, Stellar Moon has played many festivals including award winning Nannup Music Festival and supported Emily Wurramara, Daryl Braithwaite and The Waifs.
