Music festival Treaty Day Out is heading to Gippsland, South-East Victoria, in February 2025.
For its fifth event, Treaty Day Out has locked in an incredible line-up of all First Nations talent. The festival will be held at the Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park in Morwell on Saturday, 8 February.
Next year’s event will be headlined by the endlessly charismatic, energetic hip-hop stars A.B. Original. They’ll be joined by 40-time Golden Guitar Award winner Troy Cassar-Daley, Eurovision stars Electric Fields, ARIA Award-winning hip-hop collective 3% (Nooky, Dallas Woods, and Angus Field), Warnindhilyagwa woman Emily Wurramara, plus First Nations icons Uncle Kutcha Edwards and Uncle Dave Arden.
The line-up will be rounded out by Gunai and Gunditjmara woman MpathSoul and Canisha, the latter performing in partnership with the Songlines Music Aboriginal Corporation. More acts will be announced ahead of the festival happening in February.
Celebrating First Nations Music, culture and the message of Treaty, next year’s event has been organised by the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria, who have been negotiating Treaty between First Peoples and the Victorian Government. Negotiations about a Treaty in Victoria began last month and are set to continue into 2025.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people enrolled with the Assembly will have access to free entry to next year’s festival. Eligible people can enrol here.

Nooky said of Treaty Day Out 2025, “Mob in Victoria are making history negotiating Treaty, and it’s exciting to watch and support them doing it. These Treaty gigs are always deadly. We can’t wait to get out to Gippsland and celebrate with everyone on Gunaikurnai Country.”
Ngarra Murray, co-chair of the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria and a First Nations woman added, “Treaty is all about empowering our communities and celebrating our cultures.
“We want to see local knowledge being used to come up with practical solutions at a community level, so it’s great to have events like this to bring people together. If you’re mob, help get Treaty done – enrol with the Assembly and enjoy Treaty Day Out Gippsland.”
