Massive news for Brisbane indie rockers Ball Park Music: they’ve scored the support slot of a lifetime by being announced as the openers for Oasis’s highly anticipated Australian tour.

The band said of the epic news, “Can hardly believe I’m typing this but it’s true, we’ll be supporting the Mancunian legends, the one and only, Oasis on their historic reunion tour when they visit Australia this year. To say we’re pumped is a massive fucking understatement. We. Can. Not. Wait. Let’s fucking get it!”

After 31 sold-out shows in the UK, Canada, the USA, Mexico, South Korea, and Japan, Oasis will head to Australia this October and November.

Due to extraordinary demand, the legendary British rock band will play three unmissable nights at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, followed by two incredible shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium. The tour begins on Friday, 31 October, at Marvel Stadium and ends on Saturday, 8 November, at Accor Stadium.

Their brand-new full-length, Like Love, debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, marking their first-ever #1 album and the first Australian act to top the ARIA Albums Chart in 2025. The achievement is a testament to the band’s endless appeal and dedicated fanbase.

A band with its sights on the future, Ball Park Music haven’t hesitated to look back, either, having unleashed a rip-roaring cover of the iconic Radiohead track, Paranoid Android, for triple j’s Like A Version—something that we expect would go down a treat with the Oasis crowd if they’re not already won over by the band’s storytelling.

Upon sharing the official tour announcement of Australia back in October, Oasis made a cheeky reference to Down Under by Men At Work, telling Aussie fans:
