Western Sydney heartthrobs Breakfast Road have truly gained more mileage this year than any other boy band on the tip of your tongue.

The crew kicked off the middle of the year with an exclusive “world tour” slated for stops at Sydney’s Chippo Hotel on the 21st of June and Melbourne’s Workers Club on the 4th of July. Across August and September, the band opened for Queensland band daste. in Sydney and travelled across the country supporting The Buoys on their Lustre Tour.

But just when you thought your cup of Breakfast (Road) juice was full, the band are now treating their fans to yet another “world tour”, stopping exclusively in Sydney and Melbourne again to celebrate the release of their forthcoming album Romeo.

Breakfast Road has made notable waves in the Sydney music scene since banding together in high school. Their debut 2021 project Cerise saw the group exercise the depths of their nostalgia-driven indie pop sound, tapping the shoulders of fellow Full Circle Members Zion Garcia and Dylan Atlantis to create a consistent and cultured debut. Since then, the band have released their sophomore project Deluxe which saw the boys become more explorative with their sound, employing elements of punk, rock, electronic and UKG. Now, Breakfast Road is gearing up to release their follow-up on the 24th of October.

Entering their superstar era, Breakfast Road have promoted their upcoming tour and project through hilarious skits that dictate the band’s “touring addiction” and describe Romeo as “the best 30 minutes of your life”. Singles, like START A RIOT and SUPERSTAR SHIT, have teased the glitz and glamour that come with being the last living boy band on Earth, complete with auto-tuned hooks and dreamy harmonies a la 90s Backstreet Boys. With the release of Romeo nearing, the band are kicking off project drop with a show in Sydney at The Lansdowne Hotel on November 1st and The Gasometer Hotel on November 9th, with support from SOLLYY and Chris Vincent in Sydney and Mizuki in Melbourne. Tickets for Sydney and Melbourne are live now.
