Cloud Control Add Extra Shows To 2025 Australian Tour

Psychedelic folk outfit Cloud Control are hitting the road this May and June to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their seminal album, Bliss Release.

The tour has amassed extraordinary demand, with the band’s Melbourne show already sold out and other dates selling fast, so extra dates have been added to the tour.

“OMG, all these shows are selling so beautifully, and Melbourne is now SOLD OUT,” the band said in an Instagram post today. “Thank you to everyone buying tickets early; it seriously makes a world of difference to us AND lets us unlock new touring opportunities on the map.”

For the tour, Cloud Control are touring with the band’s original line-up—the Blue Mountains-raised Alastair Wright, Heidi Lenffer, Ulrich Lenffer, and Jeremy Kelshaw—who will play in Brisbane, Melbourne, Margaret River, Perth, Moreton, and Sydney.

The band states that the Moreton show, announced today, is a “super special family-flavoured event” perfect for fans of all ages. They’re also working on securing an Adelaide date for their devoted fans, which is now “90% loaded.”

In addition to the tour, Cloud Control will release the 15th anniversary edition of Bliss Release on vinyl on Friday, 23 May, via Mushroom Music. You can pre-order/pre-save the album here.

The upcoming tour finds the Aussie group continuing their environmental legacy. Partnering with FEAT.’s Solar Slice touring initiative, $1 from each ticket sold will fund a ground-breaking, Indigenous-led biodiversity regeneration program on Clarke Island/Lungtalanana, an 8,200-hectare island north of Tasmania.
