CW Stoneking Releases Christmas Special To Raise Money For Support Act

Need some more Blues in your Christmas carols? Yeah, we thought so. And it seems so did CW Stoneking and now you can get them with Stoneking's Christmas special. 

The Aussie muso has paired up with The Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle and Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme to record two Christmas tracks while Stoneking was on tour with QOTSA in Australia earlier this year. 

While the limited edition vinyl has already sold out through the QOTSA website, the two tracks (Silent Night with Homme & Stoneking and Twas The Night Before Christmas with Dalle, Homme & Stoneking) will be available for digital download and stream on 7 December. 

Proceeds from the Christmas special will go towards local music industry support network Support Act, who assist music industry workers in times of need, as well as the Sweet Stuff Foundation (founded by Homme) which assists "career musicians, recording engineers and their families struggling with illness and disability".
