"We love the guy, he likes hanging out with us, so, you know, why not?"
Following the huge success of their joint single, Open Fire, Perth duo Slumberjack have revealed they will be hitting the studio yet again with Silverchair frontman and acclaimed solo artist, Daniel Johns.
Speaking to The Music at FOMO Festival in Sydney yesterday, the electro act said they were stoked to have worked with Johns on the song, which is in the voting poll for this month's triple j Hottest 100.
"It was fantastic working with him," Slumberjack's Fletcher Ehlers said.
"We were super excited that he was able to jump on a track."

Johns was spotted at the Parramatta-based festival yesterday and as Morgan Thens noted, the singer actually arrived with them.
"We went from a professional relationship to a good friendship," Thens said, adding that they will begin working together again in the "next few days".
"We like to hang out. We love the guy, he likes hanging out with us, so, you know, why not? Jump in a studio and see what happens."
While fans will have to wait to hear what will come of the studio sessions, Slumberjack's single with Sydney artist Vera Blue, Fracture, is set to drop this Friday.
Ehlers and Thens said they hope to release their new EP shortly after their single hits the airwaves.
