It's benign!

Yesterday (31 May), Disturbed vocalist David Draiman revealed that he was awaiting biopsy results for a tumour removed from the radius in his right arm.
“It had been keeping me up nights. Should have biopsy results tomorrow. Thoughts, prayers, positive energy all welcome,” he wrote. Whether you were thinking or praying for Draiman, he’s received good news: the tumour was benign!
“It’s BENIGN!!!!,” Draiman tweeted this morning (1 June).
“THANK GOD!!!! I may be performing with a sling for a while…but we’re coming for you Europe, USA, and the rest of the world. Time to remind everyone why we are who we are… We are… Disturbed,” he wrote, accompanied by a series of emojis and a relieved selfie.
A few weeks ago, Draiman got remarkably candid on stage, telling the audience in Milwaukee that he intensely struggled with depression and addiction at points in his life. “I miss the friends that we’ve lost,” he said, before mentioning music icons, “I miss Chester [Bennington], I miss Scott [Weiland], I miss Chris [Cornell].
“And if I can be completely honest with you, a couple months ago, I almost joined them. Addiction and depression can happen to anyone ladies and gentlemen.” You can watch footage of his speech here.

But as yesterday’s tweet suggested, he still has a reason to fight.
Disturbed released their eighth album, Divisive, in November. The album includes an AI-generated music video for the single Bad Man.
Since their formation in 1996, Disturbed have sold 16 million albums globally. Their single Down With The Sickness from the year 2000 record The Sickness is arguably their most known work and is synonymous with turn-of-the-millennium metal (and a whole lot of memes).
The band is one of few acts to have five consecutive number-one debuts on the US Billboard Top 200. They sit alongside Metallica as the only hard rock acts to ever do so in the chart's history.
