Australian producer Dom Dolla has been teasing his highly anticipated collaboration with Kid Cudi for weeks. Now, the resulting song, Forever, is finally here.

Dom Dolla and the American Grammy Award-winning rapper and singer debuted the track at Madison Square Garden last month, performing to 30,000 dedicated Dom Dolla fans.

Despite having never worked together in the past, the pair created something special with Forever, which they performed together alongside Kid Cudi’s hits Day N Nite and Pursuit Of Happiness, marking his first live performance since Coachella 2024.

Of Forever, Kid Cudi said, “This resurrects all those cherished memories that kids had back when they were younger... it feels like 2010 again.”

Dom added, “Like many people, I grew up a massive fan of Kid Cudi. In many ways, his music was the soundtrack to my youth. When we met for the first time earlier this year, he said to me, ‘Dom… I don’t want to write sad music anymore.’ Given his lyrical history and how far he’s come as an artist, I was excited to get into the studio and see what we could create.

“We set ourselves the challenge of writing the happiest song we could. Everyone knows the world is going through a pretty wild time at the moment, so we wanted to transport listeners to another time and place.

“I really hope you all enjoy Forever as much as we do.”

Dom has secured a busy year of major international festival performances, including at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Hard Summer, Creamfields, Kapa Futur, and Dour. He’ll also headline shows at London’s Alexandra Palace, Parc Olympique Montreal, and Denver’s Civic Centre Park, as well as a brand-new residency in Ibiza.

Dom Dolla’s December national tour sold over 170,000 tickets across four cities, making him the highest-selling individual electronic artist in Australia of all time.

Reviewing the Aussie producer’s show at The Domain in Sydney, The Music’s Jake Fitzpatrick wrote that Dom Dolla have the audience exactly what they wanted: “a solid mix of house, tech-house, and all-around feel-good energy.”
