The new appointment takes effect today
The former Label & Publicity Manager for Spunk Records, Gabrielle Ryan, has joined Inertia Music as its new Marketing Manager effective today, 19 October, it has been announced.
As well as performing her duties for Spunk, of which she had been a part for the past two years, Ryan has also been contributing invaluably to the industry as Caroline Australia's National Publicist — and prior to that, she did hard yards for Bossy Music.
Understandably, Ryan's work has seen her assume a well-regarded position in the industry — a fact not lost on her new employers — with the ream of artists under her purview having included the likes of Mac DeMarco, St Vincent, The Ocean Party, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Jason Isbell, Highasakite, Shining Bird and Glass Animals, and campaign experience under her belt for Laneway Festival, Gotye and Flume, among others.
"Gab's experience and passion for music is first-class," Inertia Music's managing director, Tim Kelly, said of the appointment. "We are thrilled that she is now an Inertian!"

Ryan's new role will see her roster be comprised of an eclectic array of esteemed artists and labels, including Sia, Passenger, Fat Possum, Ben Abraham, Mistletone, Real Lies, Secretly Canadian and Sub Pop, to name a few, so, understandably, she's stoked to get cracking.
"I'm psyched to be joining the Inertia family," Ryan said in a statement. "The roster is filled with incredible artists, and I can't wait to get stuck into it."
