Gwyn Ashton To Perform At Mr Boogie Man Bar

Blues rock legend Gwyn Ashton will be performing at Mr Boogie Man Bar on 3 Mar. He's a one-man band like you've never seen before - it's not going to be an acoustic, stripped-back affair.

Having moved to Australia from Wales at a young age, Ashton's as much an Aussie as he is a Brit. He was recently inducted into the South Australian Music Hall Of Fame, having grown up playing the Australian circuit with Swanee, Stevie Wright and Jim Keays. He now travels the globe touring.  

Ashton's toured with everyone from BB King, Ray Charles, Buddy Guy, Mick Taylor, Rory Gallagher, Peter Green, Junior Wells, Johnny Winter, Canned Heat, Robin Trower, Jeff Healey, The Yardbirds, Status Quo, Magnum and many others. He has recorded with Kim Wilson, Robbie Blunt, Chris Glen/Ted McKenna (SAHB, MSG), Don Airey (Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne) and Gerry McAvoy & Brendan O'Neill (Rory Gallagher).
