Hermitude Hold The #1 Spot For Second Week On Carlton Dry Independent Music Chart

For the second week running, Aussie electro duo Hermitude have taken out the top spot on the Carlton Dry Independent Music Chart with their fifth studio album, Dark Night Sweet Light.

Pop star Sia has also retained the #2 spot for her acclaimed album, 1000 Forms Of Fear, which has remained in the charts for an impressive 47 weeks, while Courtney Barnett's Sometimes I Think And Sometimes I Just Sit has jumped up two spots from last week to #3.

Meanwhile, Flight Facilities rose three places from last week to #4 for their album, Down To Earth, while indie-rockers San Cisco rounded up the top five as they dropped down a place with Gracetown

Notable debuts this week include Australian 70's pop queen Colleen Hewett who came in at #7 for her new album, Black & White, while talented guitarist Lloyd Spiegel's Tangled Brew claimed #20.

Dance trio Art vs. Science have debuted at #20 in the Singles chart this week with their new track In This Together while Sia again jumped up on spot from last week to claim #1 with her hit song, Big Girls Cry.

It marks one of three songs that the Adelaide born singer holds in the top five, with Elastic Heart holding the #3 spot, while Chandelier sits one place below at #4.
