Jess Locke Signs To The Smith Street Band’s Pool House Records

Melbourne singer-songwriter Jess Locke has inked a deal with The Smith Street Band’s Pool House Records as she gears up to release her second album later this year.

After touring with The Smith Street Band last year and providing vocals to their hit Birthdays, Locke is the second artist on the Pool House Records roster and an indication that the label has big plans in the coming months.

"We have loved and admired Jess Locke for some time now. We were all very taken by her beautiful, laid back songwriting, and by her and her band mates as wonderful people,” said The Smith Street Band drummer/Pool House Records' Chris Cowburn.

“We're so excited to welcome Jess to our little community, and so proud that she is our first artist who isn't Smith Street... which makes Pool House Records feel like a real thing! Thanks Jess!"
