Lady Gaga has just teased her long-awaited return to Australia while promoting her new album, Mayhem.

Fans might have heard the Stupid Love singer on the radio this morning – not just her music – when she was chatting with The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick. While talking about her new album, hyping her Coachella headline set, and her enduring love of music, she also dropped a major hint for her long-suffering Aussie Little Monsters.

While she couldn’t confirm an official tour live on air, Lady Gaga gave some hope to fans waiting for her return since her 2014 artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball tour.

“I can’t formally announce anything, but I can tell you that I’m going to be announcing… some things,” she said with a laugh.

Gaga added, “I miss my fans there so much. I really do. I have such fond memories of being in Australia. It’s a beautiful place, and I really do want to come back soon.”

Reviewing her show at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, The Music’s Cameron Warner wrote, “Five costumes, fans in awe, guitar and piano solos: Gaga was the complete package and one of the most unique concert experiences of recent times.”

In a review of her show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, The Music’s James Barlow added, “Gaga proves herself an absolutely powerhouse performer.”

Since her 2013 ARTPOP album, Lady Gaga has released another three albums: 2016’s Joanne, 2020’s Chromatica, and Mayhem, which was released today. She’s also released two collaborative albums with Tony Bennett: Cheek To Cheek (2014), and Love For Sale (2021).

Of course, she also appears on the A Star Is Born soundtrack with the undeniable Shallow, as well as soundtracks for Top Gun: Maverick, Harlequin, and Joker: Folie à Deux.

Lady Gaga recently revealed that she was inspired by artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, David Bowie, and Prince on Mayhem, particularly Nine Inch Nails’ enduring, raunchy hit Closer.
