ICYMI: Lil Nas X - real name Montero Lamar Hill - copped major backlash after posting a snap of influencer Glow Princess alongside the caption, “The surgery was a success”.

Fans were quick to call out Nas over the insensitive comments at a time that the US is currently seeing 400 anti-trans bills in circulation.

Lil Nas X fired back, “I’m literally just saying she looks like me y’all cannot be f**kin serious.”

Amid the backlash, the STAR WALKIN’ singer deleted the offending tweet and posted to Twitter, “apologies to the trans community i def handled that situation with anger instead of considering why it was not cool. much love to you guys. sorry.”

Despite the public apologies, some fans claimed the apology was “fake as hell” and that he should instead support the trans community “in material ways that include money, sharing your platform to raise a [sic] awareness”.

Lil Nas X then quote tweeted the user, simply writing, “girl eat my a**.”

The 23-year-old is certainly no stranger to stirring the pot. Back in 2021, the openly gay rapper riled up religious groups after releasing the raunchy clip for MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name).

Conservative groups claimed he was promoting “gay agendas and demonic visuals” in the video where he’s seen giving Satan a lap dance and sliding down a stripper pole.

He then copped more flack from religious groups after he released his infamous ‘Satan Shoes’ collaboration with Brooklyn-based prank company MSCHF, which featured a real drop of blood in each sneaker.
