"Ball Park Music are debatably the best band in the country," say Lime Cordiale.

Okay, so it turns out Lime Cordiale and Ball Park Music were not, in fact, trying to be the Australian indie-pop versions of Drake and Kendrick Lamar: not only are they not beefing, they’re actually really good friends – so much so, they’re going on tour together later this year!
The five-date run – dubbed Enough Of The Sweet Talk (perhaps nodding to the title of Lime Cordiale’s long-teased third album?) – will kick off in Perth (Boorloo) on Thursday October 3, when Lime Cordiale and Ball Park Music take to the stage at HBF Stadium.
They’ll head to Adelaide (Kaurna) next, playing the Entertainment Centre on Saturday October 5, before rolling on through to Melbourne (Naarm) for a show at Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday October 8, then Sydney (Eora) for one at the ICC Theatre on Friday October 11. Last but not least, they’ll wrap things up at the Riverstage in Brisbane (Meanjin) on Sunday October 13.
Tickets for all five shows will go on sale at 1pm local time next Thursday (June 6), following a Frontier Members pre-sale that kicks off at the same time next Tuesday (June 4) – head here for more info on both sales. Thanks to Lime Cordiale’s partnership with FEAT. Live, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to a solar slice initiative.
“We’ve been spending so much time overseas,” Lime Cordiale said in a press statement, “it’s so exciting to come home for our biggest shows yet. We’re putting a lot into making the production and stage set super exciting but as always, we want to make this feel like an intimate 100-capacity party.”
On the topic of their fake-enemies-to-tourmates, the band added: “Ball Park Music are debatably the best band in the country. They’ve been an inspiration to us since we first met ten years ago. We can’t believe it’s taken this long to tour together.”

The sentiment was shared by Ball Park Music, who said in their own group statement: “We’ve wanted to go on tour with the Lime legends for years but it’s always been a pipe dream… until now! Can’t wait to share the stage and put on incredible concerts together.”
Lime Cordiale are gearing up to release their third studio album sometime before the end of 2024. Back in March, they shared the single The Big Reveal; Ou L’Hypocrite – it followed a string of releases throughout 2023, starting with Imposter Syndrome in May, then the grentperez-assisted Op Shop Lover in September, and finally Pedestal in November.
Speaking of op shops, the band recently made waves for creating merchandise out of thrifted clothes – an effort that came as part of their endeavour to be more environmentally conscious as touring artists.
