Burgeoning Australian artist Samsaruh has announced today she's signed a worldwide publishing deal with US-based Primary Wave Music Publishing.

Launched in 2006, the company has acquired songs for some of the world's biggest names in music like Kurt Cobain, Bob Marley and Smokey Robinson.

Samsaruh's signing to Primary Wave comes after a string of her tracks receiving high rotation on triple j, including Golden To Thrive, Beautiful Killer and Speaking Fire.

"We are thrilled to have signed Samsaruh to an exclusive co-publishing and administration deal," Primary Wave Senior Director Jake Livingston said.

"Samsaruh is a natural born rocker. She endeavours to be one of this generation’s leading ladies of rock. Her songwriting will take her on boundless journeys across the world and back. We will be with her every step of the way." 

Samsaruh added, "I feel absolutely ecstatic to be partnering up with Primary wave and taking my ever growing universe of songs to the places and people they were created for.

"This is only the beginning and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead." 

To coincide with the signing, the Melbourne songwriter has confirmed she will release her debut EP in mid-2019.
