Introducing the Richmond Theatrette.
A new live music venue has been introduced in Richmond and it is set to host a slew of shows during next month's Leaps & Bounds Music Festival.
The obscure and little known Richmond Theatrette will hold eight concerts in one week, which will be kicked off with two performances from Sydney songwriter Perry Keyes on Saturday, 11 July and Sunday, 12 July.
Local songwriter Nick Batterham will join Keyes on the opening night while renowned duo Jack Howard and Nicky Del Ray will perform on the following night.
Other artists confirmed to hit the stage at the new venue include Ashley Naylor, frontman of Aussie indie band EVEN, who will perform a rare solo show, country-pop duo The Grapes, Melbourne legends The Fauves and popular local songwriters Ross McLennan & The New World and Ben Mason.

The shows will conclude on Sunday, 19 July with a live performance from EVEN with support from special guests, The Jangle Band.
Speaking to theMusic, event organiser Justin Naylor said: "Richmond Theatrette will be a wonderful music venue for music lovers – an intimate atmosphere, a great-sized stage, in a convenient inner city location."
"It is a pleasure to be able to showcase a wealth of underrated Australian songwriting talent over a week of Leaps & Bounds Festival shows."
Naylor went on to say that fans can look forward to the success of the shows as well as the new venue.
"[It] promises to fill an important niche in providing a fan-friendly environment to see quality local talent."
