‘80s Aussie rockers Mi-Sex have postponed their 45 Years of Graffiti Crimes Tour, which was set to begin this month, rescheduling the dates to May 2025.

The band made the announcement over social media this week, sharing that frontman Steve Balbi had a “terrible accident” in which he broke his tibia and fibula and shattered his right foot. As a result of the injury, Balbi requires “extensive and invasive” surgery.

In the social media post, the band asked fans to send the frontman best wishes for a speedy recovery. “Never could his mantra be more true than it is at present – it’s good to be alive!” Mi-Sex wrote.

Following surgery, Balbi is required to remain “relatively immobile” for three months and another three months of recovery and rehabilitation – under doctor’s orders.

The band continued, “For those of you familiar with Balbi’s ferocious and famously high-energy shows with Mi-Sex, we’ve reached the conclusion that honouring Steve’s recovery, alongside protecting the integrity and legacy of Mi-Sex live, must prevail above all else.”

So, here are the rescheduled dates:
