We’re exactly a week away from Christmas, but ahead of the big day, Nickelback will release a new music video for fans to savour over the festive period.
Horizon, from their 2022 album Get Rollin’, has received the music video treatment. The clip will drop overnight for us Aussies – at 2 am AEDT on Thursday, 19 December. You can prepare for the Horizon music video premiere by clicking “notify me” on the video below.
It turns out that their Aussie fans are fans of their latest album, Get Rollin’, which peaked at #3 on the ARIA Charts upon its release.
Get Rollin’ marks the rock band’s first album in five years and is their tenth studio album. The band said of the heavy metal-inspired LP, “We’ve spent the last few years making a record at a pace that gave us the freedom to create, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear the new music.
“We’ve missed the fans and look forward to bringing the new songs to life on stage, so let’s Get Rollin’!”
Last year, a new documentary film, Hate To Love: Nickelback, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival before making its way to streaming platforms.

Hate To Love: Nickelback explores why the Canadian rockers have become one of the most hated musical groups of our time.
In the trailer, Nickelback performed on arena stages and followed them from their beginnings to becoming a hated yet loved band that still sells truckloads of tickets.
“Nobody picks up a guitar to be the most hated band in the world,” guitarist Ryan Peake said in the trailer. Vocalist Chad Kroeger added in another candid moment, “We try to laugh it off. You can laugh off about 90 per cent of it. Some of it… it hurts.”
Kroeger added, “I play Nickelback songs to Nickelback fans, so I don’t have to go and try to win over someone who doesn’t like my band.”
