The beloved duo will release their fourth album early next year
Renowned and respected hip hop duo Spit Syndicate are all set to charm audiences all over again at this year's Falls Festival events but, before they hit the year's-end touring shindig, they're lifting the veil on super-slick new single Inhibitions.
The fresh track has been served up fresh alongside the news that Spit Syndicate have been welcomed into the esteemed roster of artists under the purview of stalwart indie label Inertia Music, a most talented bunch of local and international acts that touch all manner of bases, including Ali Barter, Angel Olsen, BADBADNOTGOOD, Big Scary, Bjork, Bon Iver, Elizabeth Rose, GL, Hockey Dad, Japanese Wallpaper, Kucka, ODESZA, Robyn, Sia, Tigertown and more.
The Inertia deal has been cemented in relation to Spit Syndicate's forthcoming, as-yet-untitled fourth studio album, which is now set for release through the label in early 2017.
In the interim until that release though, we'll have to make do with Inhibitions, a typically sleek and stylish offering with serious intent to get you fired right the heck up no matter the occasion.

"We've always wanted to make the type of song that people wanna put on when they're getting ready to go out, something that instantly places you in the mood," group members Nick Lupi and Jimmy Nice said in a joint statement. "Inhibitions is your pre-party, party and kick-on."
Inertia will doubtlessly make full use of their new recruits, with the label's managing director, Tim Kelly, effusing of the signing, "Spit Syndicate have an incredible energy and all of us at Inertia are delighted to be working with them".
"Nick and Jimmy are creating some great music and we cannot wait to share more with their fans," he said.
Echoed the members of Spit Syndicate: "We've put damn near everything we've got into this album for the past little while, so it was important for us to find a label partner who can match our energy and vision for this album. We've found that in Inertia Music, and are extremely excited about what we can achieve working together."
Spit Syndicate will be in action this summer at Subsonic Festival as well as all three east-coast events for Falls at the end of the year.
