Sydney band With Confidence have announced they will be "taking time off" after two band members were accused of sexual misconduct with a minor last month.

In a statement posted to Facebook on the weekend, the pop-punk outfit confirmed all tour dates and plans to record a new album have been postponed.

"This decision has not been easy for the three of us," the statement reads.

"Together we have decided that With Confidence will be taking time off.

"We have put all touring on hold and postponed the recording of our second album. We will instead be spending time at home with our families to personally process everything that has occurred.

"We need to and want to be a band that deals with their past, present, and future responsibly."

The news comes after With Confidence announced they were parting ways with guitarist Luke "Rockets" Thomas who allegedly sent messages of a sexual nature to a 14-year-old female fan.

Just two days later, frontman Jayden Seeley addressed allegations he solicited child pornography from a 15-year-old female fan in 2013.

The band were axed from the UNIFY 2018 festival shortly after the allegations came to light.
