The Cannanes Announce Album Launch Dates

One of our country's finest exponents of DIY indie rock, The Cannanes, are back! That's very exciting news for fans of the band, because it has been over a decade since they released their last LP.

They showed us the first single from the record a little while ago and you can get your hands on the new record through Chapter Music right now. What's more exciting is that, if you live in certain parts of the country, you'll be able to see the band playing these new songs (and a stack of oldies, no doubt) live again!

They have announced five dates through September and October, which you can see below. Perhaps most exciting is that the Melbourne launch will be a mammoth celebration of the band's 30 years together, featuring two sets from the group and a wide array of different members from throughout the years.

Tickets for Sydney and Melbourne are available now, you can just pay at the door for all the other shows.
