“Grub is about the lure of vices."
Sydney party rockers Totally Unicorn have unleashed a relentless new single in anticipation of their headline dates next month.
Unmistakably Aussie and everything we’ve come to love from the local outfit, Grub was produced by Jonathan Boulet and James Balderston (High Tension, Luca Brasi) in Adelaide and is the first single to feature Totally Unicorn’s new line-up, featuring former Robotosaurus member Adam Myers in fine form behind the kit.
“Grubis about the lure of vices – alcohol, drugs, gambling - everything that in excess, weighs life down, making it more difficult and harder to deal with," frontman Drew Gardiner said.
"It’s about friends who are in the same situation, giving advice about how badly you’re cooking life: a pot-calling-the-kettle-black kind of scenario, and that person’s dissatisfaction with you when you disregard said advice."
Totally Unicorn’s Aussie tour kicks off November 15 in Melbourne; check out theGuide for all the details.
