And it's happening very soon.

More Screaming Females More Screaming Females

Screaming Females are heading back to Australia! It's been nearly three years between Aussie tours for the New Jersey punk group, who made their Australian debut run back in 2016.

The group, fronted by Marissa Paternoster, have caught attention of the likes of The Breeders, Garbage and Dinosaur Jr, as well as previously working with renowned producer Steve Albini.

"At times it was hard to even see the stage through the masses of people, eagerly trying to see how the band's incredible sound was being created," Xavier Rubetzki Noonan said in a review the band's 2016 Oxford Art Factory show.

"Screaming Females specialise in giant hooks and world-conquering vocals, which soon evolve into transcendent guitar jams. By about three songs into the set, it felt like they were going to tear the roof off the place." Read the review here.

The upcoming Australian tour is in celebration the band's 2018 album, All At Once, their seventh studio release. The tour kicks off at The Eastern in Ballarat on 22 May, before heading to The Tote in Melbourne, The Bearded Lady in Brisbane, The Chippo Hotel in Sydney and The Brisbane in Hobart.
