It ain't James Mercer
Indie legends The Shins are in the country at the moment for the Splendour In The Grass festival, but they've also been out indulging in the odd DJ set into the wee hours of the morning.
One such set was their recent visit to The BackRoom in Sydney's Potts Point following their Hordern Pavilion show.
Taking tracks from Stevie Wonder, David Bowie and George Michael (from phones and iPods plugged straight into the decks in true indie-DJ style) it seems that Richard Swift is the DJ-head amongst them all. Joe Plummer takes care of the bluegrass and Yukki Matthews grabs the drinks.
Naturally, James Mercer is usually too busy getting his photo taken.
