"The kick drum to 'pendulu hv moda' could probably level a small city."

More Autechre More Autechre

Having given up making music that sounds remotely like anyone else sometime ago, it's not entirely surprising that Autechre have jettisoned the album format, by returning with 248 minutes of new music spread across five EPs that can be purchased individually or all together.

The quality doesn't always match the quantity, but at its unpredictable best Elseq 1-5 features tracks that fall apart and rebuild themselves in unexpected ways, while in among the diamond hard beats and oceanic sub bass, the kick drum to pendulu hv moda could probably level a small city.
