"A short, sweet and honest serving of jangling folk-rock with the occasional twist of indie edge and alternative male/female lead vocals."

This EP is a short, sweet and honest serving of jangling folk-rock with the occasional twist of indie edge and alternative male/female lead vocals for good measure.

Title track Rex opens strong, psychedelic guitar feedback stacked onto a gentle vocal with a back bar rockabilly-blues vibe, elements of which follow through into Bright Lights and Walking Away. In contrast the Britpop sounds of Penelope can’t quite hold up, the group balancing their sounds nicely in Alfred Crescent to close off a solid, enjoyable release.
