What’s the concept behind the clip? Like the song, it's about how much X-Factor sucks! The main character gives his all in front of the judges, but to no avail, it's more fun with the purity and honesty of karaoke.
How long did it take to make? A few days of shooting in Sydney. I did my bit in front of the computer.
What’s your favourite part of the clip? I love the main actor, Tom. We made the clip humorous but there's an emotion to it, I feel. Tom really captures your eye and manages to bring you into his story. Hard to do in only three minutes.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Just the song, really. It's all about how manipulative reality talent shows are, I can't stand that stuff.
Will you be launching it? On tour around the country in Melbourne, Brisbane, Fremantle and Adelaide.
