Festival's gone to the dogs - in a good way

More Tash Sultana More Tash Sultana

It's pretty hard to believe this hasn't happened already but Melbourne is about to get its first ever taste of a dog friendly music festival. 27 September will see Richmond's Burnley Park overrun by man's best friend and it will be adorable.

The boutique festival, Dogapalooza is set to pave the way for more pet-friendly fests to come. The festival will aim to raise funds for several of Melbourne's dog rescue groups whilst simultaneously creating a furry mountain of fun for all involved. As Spring rolls in, the festival is an opportunity to lay-about, do anything dog-related and enjoy some of Melbourne's finest musical acts.

The initial line-up has been announced and includes the likes of roots reggae-folkster Tash Sultana and the mesmerizing Harrison Storm. Obviously due to the sensitive nature of our furry friends ears, this won't be the loudest festival you ever attend but it might just be the best!
