Dance in the dark with Hot Chip
Keep the seagulls away — Hot Chip is gearing up to play some headline shows to kick 2016 off to a good start! The Londoners will be in town for Sugar Mountain 2016 in Melbourne, playing alongside Courtney Barnett, Le1f and Dirty Three, but have unveiled four sideshows to make sure fans in other states don't miss out.
The announce comes hot on the heels of the release of the Dancing In The Dark EP last week, which, as you'd imagine, boasted an interpretation of the Springsteen favourite.
The band will be headed Sydney's way first and foremost, playing the Sydney Opera House on Friday, 22 January, before heading to Melbourne's 170 Russell, Brisbane's The Tivoli and finally, Fremantle Arts Centre in Perth on Friday, 29 January.
Hot Chip will be joining by New York-based Empress Of as well as Sydney producer Touch Sensitive.
