POND frontman Nicholas Allbrook is a busy guy at the moment, ramping up towards an impending national tour — for which he's just unveiled his supports — as well as the imminent release of his sophomore studio full-length, freshly revealed to be titled Pure Gardiya.

Despite how stacked his plate his, Allbrook has somehow found the time of late to put together an accompanying video clip for new single Advance, the first taste of the forthcoming record. The video is, as our headline suggests, a bit of a sensory buffet of oddity and haemoglobin, Allbrook cutting a striking, elegant figure as the clip transitions from dark room to showers of golden confetti, flowing white robes, sparkling couture and, uh, swans.

It is, in a word, fantastic.

The clip comes just in time for Allbrook's forthcoming tour — kicking off at Adelaide's Pirie & Co Social Club this Thursday, 24 March — and a couple of months prior to Pure Gardiya's landing, announced today to be Friday 27 May, via Spinning Top Records.

For those intending on heading along to the upcoming shows, Allbrook has finalised the details for his support acts, with Glass Skies and Druid Fluids joining the fray in Adelaide, Broadway Sounds and Footy stepping up for Melbourne, Star Club and Orlando Furious rearing their heads in Brisbane, Through The Forest Door (Luke O'Farrell of The Laurels) doing the trick in Sydney, and Mining Tax and Peter Bibby on the bill for Allbrook's hometown show in Fremantle on 1 April.
