Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Have Welcomed Their Second Baby

Hip-hop’s power couple Rihanna and A$AP Rocky reportedly welcomed their second baby quietly earlier this month.
On Tuesday (21 August), TMZ reported that the Diamonds singer gave birth to a baby boy earlier this month, with the little one arriving on 3 August in Los Angeles.
While the newborn’s name has yet to be revealed, TMZ reported that it starts with an ‘R’, like his older brother RZA.

RiRi famously announced she was pregnant with her second child following her Super Bowl halftime performance in February 2023.
The news of their second bebe’s arrival comes after it was revealed that RiRi and Rocky's first child — who arrived in May 2022 — was named RZA Athelston Mayers, a nod to Wu-Tang Clan member RZA.
“Wu Tang iz 4 da churen [sic]. Happy first birthday to my firstborn. Rza [red heart emoji],” Rocky captioned his post celebrating his first-born’s birthday earlier this year.
Rocky's family has a history of being named after hip-hop heavyweights; his real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers after the legendary rapper.
In fact, Rakim met Rocky as a baby many years ago while driving around Harlem.
“I remember a long time ago, driving through Harlem. A lady walks across the street. I’m at the light, she walks across the street. She got the carriage and everything,” Rakim told Hot 97 in 2019.
“She says can ‘you sign this for me?’ I never say no. I say ‘what’s him name?’ Rakim. I’m like word? She’s like Rakim. I sign the joint, I remember that day, cause that was the first time hearing someone named their son after me. Like I said, humbling experience.”
