Last week, American singer-songwriter Alex Warren announced that he’d make his Australian debut this August.
Recognised for his hits Burning Down and Carry You Home, Warren released his critically acclaimed debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1), last year.
Before he found fame, Warren was homeless and sleeping in friends’ cars. For over a decade, the singer has shared details of his life with his dedicated online following, which has led to nearly a billion plays on streaming services, 75 million views, and 11.4 million engagements on TikTok sounds.
Warren said of his upcoming Cheaper Than Therapy Tour, “I've never been to New Zealand or Australia, so I'm stoked to finally come over there and play some shows. Also really interested to try vegemite, that stuff looks wild.”
