Aussie trio San Cisco have announced six huge national tour dates, marking their third Australian tour of the year in support of their fifth album, Under The Light.

Taking the show on the road once again this October and November, San Cisco’s Australian tour begins at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Friday, 25 October.

The tour continues at Melbourne’s The Forum (Saturday, 26 October), Busselton’s Shelter Brewing (Friday, 8 November), the Fremantle Arts Centre (Saturday, 9 November), Brisbane’s The Tivoli (Thursday, 14 November), and wraps up at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday, 16 November. The band will be joined by special guests Haiku Hands and Touch Sensitive (DJ Set).

Pre-sale tickets to San Cisco’s upcoming Under The Light Australian tour go on sale at midday AEST on Wednesday, 24 July. You can sign up here for early access to tickets. The general sale opens at noon AEST on Thursday, 25 July, via the band’s website.

San Cisco first started touring in support of Under The Light last November and December before going on two regional tours this year.

The first regional tour took place in May, and this week, part two of the group’s regional tour begins in Perisher, NSW, and continues into late next month, ending in Forth, Tasmania.

San Cisco are one of Australia’s favourite bands. In 2023 alone, they performed at events such as Bass In The Grass (NT), Dream Machine (Bali), Be Social Fest (QLD), Melbourne’s Formula 1 Grand Prix (VIC) and the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix, as well as headlining the FIFA Fan Festival in Adelaide (SA).

In a cover story with The Music, San Cisco’s lead vocalist, Jordi Davieson said of Under The Light with Bryget Chrisfield: “This record is a lot more reflective and we’re looking at things from a lot more angles as opposed to, like, ‘Here’s a love song. I love you. I love you this much…’ It’s more like, ‘This is the intricate, in the weeds of what relationships are like – with friends, with family, with archetypes that you maybe steer away from – and how you interpret them…’

“We’ve grown up a bit and it’s a little bit more all-encompassing; they’re not just cut-and-dried breakup songs or love songs.”
