"More polished and refined... but with all the same attitude."

More Cherry Glazerr More Cherry Glazerr

Los Angeles-based trio Cherry Glazerr's sonic evolution is evident right from the start of their second album, Apocalipstick.

Album opener (and standout track) Told You I'd Be With The Guys kicks things off with simplistic-but-super catchy guitar riffs, hard-hitting drums and frontwoman Clementine Creevy lyrically expressing a desire for female solidarity. Mid-album highlights include the uptempo Humble Pro, gentler Nuclear Bomb and haunting Nurse Ratched. The album closes with its title track, a heavy instrumental featuring layers of overdriven electric guitars and bass.

A more polished and refined version of Cherry Glazerr than heard on previous releases, but with all the same attitude — Apocalipstick proves they're a band to watch.
