Could Radiohead be planning something new? The members of the British alternative rock band have formed a new legal entity, something they’ve historically done before embarking on some new activity.
NME and Pitchfork report that on Monday (10 March), Radiohead’s five members—Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, and Philip Selway—registered a new limited liability partnership (LLP) under the name RHEUK25.
A form of business entity that allows the band to operate without the ordinary record label model, Radiohead fans will have to keep an eye out over the coming months to see what they’ll do with the LLP. The band have operated independently since the release of their 2003 album, Hail To The Thief, where they parted ways with EMI and Parlophone.
Historically, Radiohead—and Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood’s side project, The Smile—have created an LLP to launch new activities.
The band used LLPs for the mammoth 2021 reissue of Kid A and Amnesiac, Kid A Mnesia, and before releasing their most recent album, 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool.
In 2022, Yorke and Jonny Greenwood were listed as the officers behind the Self Help Tapes LLP, which was established before the announcement of The Smile’s debut album, A Light For Attracting Attention. Radiohead has previously created LLPs to tour and distribute new music.

At the time of publication, details surrounding the legal entity are limited, and the band haven’t announced the long-awaited follow-up to A Moon Shaped Pool, a new tour, or another reissue.
However, overnight, the band shared a post on social media to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their second album, The Bends. Perhaps another reissue is coming, or something else is planned.
In October and November, Thom Yorke embarked on his first-ever solo tour of Australia, a run of shows he dubbed the everything tour. The shows saw him perform Radiohead songs such as Weird Fishes / Arpeggi, I Might Be Wrong, Bloom, How To Disappear Completely, Daydreaming, Present Tense, Everything In Its Right Place, Bodysnatchers, and Karma Police.
Radiohead last toured Australia in 2012. Colin Greenwood joined Nick Cave on his recent intimate Australian shows. You can find a review of the pair’s Melbourne show here.
