Mark it in your calendars!
Wentworth Winedown - a new food, wine and arts festival in regional New South Wales - has released its music lineup for the event, and locals are in for a treat.
Kicking off next year, February 25, this completely free event will feature some of Australia's favourite artists, providing the perfect backdrop to relax while trying some of the best local produce in the state. Set to take place at the Wentworth Showgrounds, this new event is perfect for supporting local and regional businesses while getting your live music hit.
Pop Princess Mallrat will be headlining the festival, delivering an ace performance of her chart-topping new album Butterfly Blue.
Finishing up his Drinking WIth My Smoking Friends tour this year, Allday will also be making his way to the Wentworth showgrounds to wow crowds with his quick wit and unguarded tunes.
Aria Award-winning Alice Ivy will join the lineup to play some unreleased tunes, along with Mildura Locals Loose Bricks, who will be fresh off their major Australian tour as well.

Local boys Loose Bricks are stoked at the announcement saying: "We find a lot of joy playing in our hometown because it's where we started. We have friends and family that have supported us from the very beginning, and the opportunity to play in front of them again is something we cherish. Rural communities often have to travel long distances to get to see live music, which is expensive and often time-consuming, so events that are local provide accessible experiences for the people in those communities."
Iconic artist Allday also chimed in, commenting that: "Australia is a very spread out nation, there's a lot in between the big cities. A lot of good music comes out of the regions, and I'm a big believer in touring the whole map myself. You never know where you could have the greatest gig of your life."
There will be a bus service offered to locals for a small fee, with pick-ups and drop-offs happening in Mildura, Merbein, Gol Gol, Buronga, Dareton and the Wentworth township. Find more information here.
Wentworth Winedown is presented by Wentworth Shire Council and has been made possible by NSW Reconnecting Regional NSW – Community Events Program.
