"It's easy to listen to the EP a few times in a sitting, providing additional rewards with every re-visit."

More Green Buzzard More Green Buzzard

There's a real sweet spot in the contemporary local guitar scene where Green Buzzard — like Violent Soho, DZ Deathrays and (at risk of overdosing on the letter 'z') King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard before them — are thriving.

The Sydney band's debut EP Eazy Queezy Squeezy is a little cruisier and more jangly than the other three groups, with tracks like Diggin' A Hole and (I Don't Wanna) Break Your Heart primed for a late-afternoon surf 'n' beers session. With six tracks it's easy to listen to the EP a few times in a sitting, providing additional rewards with every re-visit.
