"If Primus ever wrote a kid's book, this is what it would sound like."

More Primus More Primus

Featuring the same line-up (Les Claypool, Larry Lalonde and drummer Tim Alexander) that recorded Suck On This almost 30 years ago, Primus' ninth studio recording takes its inspiration from the 1978 children's book The Rainbow Goblins.

A mix of spoken word, eccentric bass, and classic riffs, it's a quirky, sometimes dark frolic through the mind of Claypool. Tracks such as The Seven and The Scheme should appease fans of the '90s stuff and perhaps surprise and delight certain kids of readers aged two to ten. If Primus ever wrote a kid's book, this is what it would sound like.
