Anthony Albanese has once again showcased his love for music—especially Australian music—by sharing his votes for the triple j Hottest 100.
The Prime Minister’s list is an all-Australian extravaganza aside from two acts. His picks are: Safety Pin by Hockey Dad, Enough Of The Sweet Talk by Lime Cordiale, Middle Kids’ The Blessings, U Should Not Be Doing That by Amyl And The Sniffers, Angie McMahon’s Untangling, King Stingray’s Light Up The Path, BIRDS OF A FEATHER by Billie Eilish, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s Le Risque, Dua Lipa’s Illusion, and The Kid LAROI’s Baby I’m Back.
Albanese unveiling his list comes as 100 Warm Tunas has counted over 26,000 submissions to make predictions ahead of this year’s Hottest 100.
Out of Albanese’s picks, six of them are predicted to make the Hottest 100: Safety Pin at #89, Enough Of The Sweet Talk at #99, U Should Not Be Doing That at #12, Untangling at #69, BIRDS OF A FEATHER at #4, and Le Risque at #84.
Keep in mind that while 100 Warm Tunas gathers data from submissions of peoples’ votes, it can’t 100% know the winner.
